TLDR:
Boardy has huge potential. Could it finally deliver a way for people to meet exactly who they need to meet, at scale? Definitely worth trying, incredibly easy to get started
Syllaby seems to be laying the groundwork to build faceless, video-based social media channels, I was blown away at the combination of speed and quality
Operator is quite underwhelming at the moment.

Holy Shit! As a former connector, this is such a great application. IMO this is what the promise of what FB could have done — make it much easier for people to connect with each other.
Within 10 minutes of my phone conversation with Boardy (it was an obviously-AI conversation), Boardy sent me an opt-in introduction. As of this writing, they haven’t responded, but it’s super cool. I’ve since had 4-5 other conversations with Boardy asking for other kinds of introductions, but those haven’t panned out yet.
Ease of Use = 🤩
It’s super simple.
You message Boardy on LinkedIn with your email and phone number.
Within 30 seconds, you’ll get a call from Boardy
Boardy asks you about what kind of person you want to meet
If there’s someone that’s a fit, you’ll get an opt in email
If both sides opt in you’ll get a formal intro
So far Boardy has had 45,000 conversations, so that’d be the network size Boardy is drawing from.
My Complaints
Limited to 1 introduction per call (or it’s 1 intro at a time? Not sure).
Sometimes the audio is very obviously janky AI
Syllaby
Pricing = Free 7 day trial across all plans, rate limited during trial, credit-based usage, CC required
Overall Thoughts = 🤯
Faceless YouTube, IG, Tiktok are made effortless because of Syllaby.
Script and title generation can be handled by free LLMs, fed into Syllaby, Syllaby can generate a professional-looking 1 minute video in 3 minutes.
The amount of AI-generated shorts is going to explode (if it hasn’t already).
In 7 days, I’ve generated 3,000 views across 9 videos on a brand new YouTube channel ONLY using Syllaby:

Limited video generations during the trial (ranged between 3-5)
Limited credits during trial (ranged between 50-300)
Everything costs credits :(
Credit costs get rounded up (e.g. 1 minute video = 13 credits, 1 minute 1 second video = 26 credits)
Some features weren’t available during the free trial (e.g. voice clone)
Last Notes:
You can get 50% off any subscription plan if you start the trial cancelation process.
At the basic level plan ($25/month) you get 500 credits, which could generate 38 one-minute faceless videos, which is $0.65 per video. If you have 50% off, thats $0.33 per video 🤯

There are really minimal use cases for it right now. This is the main page:
So basically it can to basic things like buy food, buy tickets, buy flights, make reservations.
I had it look up flights for me and it was cool to watch it get it mostly accurate, but anyone who is fluent with computer usage is going to be faster.
